Overview
 

Starling International School is a co-educational school sited in Shyamnagar, Barrackpore Sub Division, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal. Founded in 2017, the school is affiliated to Senior Secondary (10+2) with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and fosters the belief - "Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education". The school's vision is to prepare the students for the future life and to create individuals who are able to think independently and adapt with the changing dynamics of the society and contribute towards it's betterment and mankind as a whole.

Campus
 

The school campus spreads over 1.6721 acres and stands out due to the astounding architecture and amenities it exhibits. The campus facilitates a large assembly hall, spacious classrooms with air conditioners, AV rooms with LCD projectors and well equipped modern laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Geography & Computer.
The school is under the surveillance of innumerable CCTV cameras 24x7 hrs. The playground and the school building are adjacent offering a wide range of indoor, outdoor, sports and physical activities. The classrooms are spacious, well equipped with smart boards, traditional glass boards, ergonomic furniture and air conditioners. The drinking water is of A one quality i.e. RO filtered. The two staircases are well spaced to prevent from any kind of fall or accidents. Male and female staffrooms are based on all the floors. The Infirmary is under the constant supervision of a nurse. The washrooms are age and gender specific maintained with utmost hygiene. Safety & security is ensured by security guards who are on duty 24x7.Fire fighting equipment with automatic fire alarm and fire extinguishers are installed everywhere. Facilities of indoor games like table tennis, chess & seperate rooms for Karate, Yoga, Dance & Music embellish the campus.The school campus is surrounded by an abundance of greenery.

Academics
 

Affiliated to CBSE, the school offers education from Playgroup through class XII, with a very flexible approach the school has adopted the best technical support to address the shift from classroom teaching to online education. The school uses the Scientific study app for online communication and management of academics. A variety of teaching methods are employed to encourage experiential learning and retain the students' curiosity and interest in the process of learning.
